UGI Energy Services owns generation assets in Western PA and Northeastern PA on the PJM system. By optimizing the combination of generation assets and PJM markets, our Company can offer the most reliable and cost-effective electric supplies to customers that choose to buy their electricity from a supplier, rather than their electric distribution company.

De-regulation of electricity has been progressing throughout the United States for several years. Experience has shown that de-regulation has developed more quickly in some states and locations than others. POWERMARK only offers retail generation supply in those areas in which customers are able to achieve savings, compared to their utility’s pricing.

POWERMARK currently serves customers on selected utilities in Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Maryland. As the de-regulated electric market matures, and competitive pricing becomes more attractive in all electric distribution company territories, POWERMARK will be poised to provide reliable generation service to a greater number of consumers.

POWERMARK's participation in PJM demand response programs enables customers to earn revenues by voluntarily curtailing electric demand. Participation in any of three curtailment programs allows users to receive payments, while conserving electricity with minimal adjustment to operating procedures.
